Allah answered, removed the affliction, and restored his family with more besides, as mercy and a reminder to those who worship. Their individual names are not given.
Another passage describes an instruction to strike with his foot, and cool water for washing and drinking. He is praised as patient and continually turning to Allah.
The passage includes an instruction concerning a bundle of grass and an oath. It does not provide the full backstory, so the site does not invent one or present later reports as Qur’anic narration.
The golden-locust report remembers Ayyub recognising that provision does not remove his need for Allah’s blessing. It is a hadith episode, distinct from the Qur’anic account of his prayer and recovery.
