You can begin learning with a translation and explanations in your own language. The Qur’an was revealed in Arabic; translations convey interpretations of meaning. Learn pronunciation gradually, with a teacher where possible.
Who is Jesus in Islam?
Muslims honour Jesus (Isa), son of Maryam, as the Messiah and a messenger of Allah. The Qur’an describes his miraculous birth and his miracles by Allah’s permission. Islam does not regard him as God.
Can I be forgiven after making mistakes?
The Qur’an calls people not to despair of Allah’s mercy and to return to Him. Adam’s account connects wrongdoing with repentance. Seeking forgiveness also calls for taking responsibility and trying to change.
Why do Muslims pray?
Prayer is a way of worshipping and remembering Allah. The Qur’an commands prayer and describes its connection with avoiding wrongdoing. The five daily prayers and their practice are taught in the Sunnah.
When will the world end?
Allah alone knows when the Hour will occur. Islamic sources discuss signs, but these do not authorise us to assign a date or declare that a particular modern event fulfils a prophecy.
Were all prophets given exact historical dates?
The Qur’an does not supply a complete dated chronology of the prophets. This site uses a learning sequence and does not invent dates or force every prophet into a certain historical order.
What does Islam say about Mary?
Maryam is honoured in the Qur’an. Her devotion and the birth of Isa are described in Surah Maryam and Surah Ali Imran. The Qur’an describes her as chosen and purified.
Can I explore without being Muslim?
You are welcome to read, ask questions, and take your time. The Qur’an states that there is no compulsion in religion. You do not need an account to explore this site.
Are all end-times details in the Qur’an?
No. The Qur’an teaches the Hour, resurrection and accountability; many detailed signs are transmitted through hadith. The End Times section labels these source types separately.
How does Islam teach us to treat others?
The Qur’an calls for justice and kindness and for fairness even when you dislike a people. It teaches care for parents and those in need.
