One God, a life with purpose
Islam means submission to Allah, the Arabic word for God. Muslims worship the one Creator, without partners. The Qur’an describes Allah as One, self-sufficient, neither begetting nor begotten. Belief includes His angels, revealed books, messengers, the Last Day, and divine decree.
A shared prophetic message
Muslims honour Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa, and the other messengers. Muhammad ﷺ is the final prophet. Explore their profiles and the Qur’an in context, rather than treating an isolated quotation as the whole teaching.
You can ask without committing
Read at your own pace. You do not need to identify as Muslim to use these guides. The Qur’an rejects compulsion in religion. Questions about belief, history, and practice are welcome; our Questions section offers a starting point.
